Category : Rooting Android Without a PC Are you tired of watching all your friends do all these cool tricks and hacks with their Android devices because they are rooted while your sitting on the sidelines with your Android because you don’t have a computer to root your device with?? Are you tired of how slow your phone or tablet is running and how often it freezes and restarts but there is nothing that you can do about it since your device isn’t rooted?? Well fear not because Hackdroid is here with an all new universal rooting method that will allow you to gain root permissions for your Android without even using a computer!! This new rooting method will give you the much needed root permissions to fully unlock your Android’s full potential so you can boost performance and battery life, hack your favorite Android games with several different hacks to choose from or even hack wifi with your Android!! And all you need to get started are these few simple steps and half a brain (not a full one so be sure to cut the other half off!! lol) and your trusty dusty Android device. So lets get started with the all new universal rooting method KingRoot!!
Now I will say before hand with this special rooting application the default language is Chinese (special thanks to my fans on YouTube for pointing out the difference between Chinese and Japanese to me!! lol I really did use just half a brain to write that video description the first time lol just kidding ) but you will be able to understand the important stuff no matter what language you speak, like the giant green button that will show on the screen when your ready to root. Now first to get started as with all rooting methods we must start by enabling usb debugging in the developer options of the device’s settings that we are using. So just go into the settings of your Android and locate the developer options which should be located towards the bottom of the settings menu. If you do not see them then don’t worry, most newer devices now have the developer options locked and hidden but they are very easy to unlock and access. If you need to unlock the developer options then scroll further down in the settings menu til you locate “about device” and select it. Once in the about device section of the settings scroll down until you see build number just rapidly tap this until you see a small message that states you have unlocked the developer options. Once you have developer options unlocked in the device’s settings then go back to the settings main menu and open them. In the developer options you will see “USB debugging”. Make sure that there is a check next to this, if not go ahead and select it to enable it. I greatly recommend that you not adjust any of the other options in this part of the settings unless you are a developer and know the function for these options because some of these settings if used incorrectly can cause system failures. Once you have “USB debugging” enabled you will also need to enable “Unknown sources” in the security settings since the rooting application we will be using cannot be found on the Google Play Store. Enabling “Unknown sources” allows you to manually install applications using apk files instead of only apps that come directly from the Google Play Store. So to find this setting simply go back to the device’s settings main menu and scroll down til you find the security options. Once you open the security options you should see an option called “Unknown sources”. Just make sure that there is a check next to this option and if not just select it to enable it just the same way as you did with “USB debugging earlier”.
After both “Unknown sources” and “USB debugging” is enabled on your Android device next thing to do is download the KingRoot apk file. Ill link below where you can download this apk file from. There is an official website for this application so its best to download it there. Now I know this website will be in Chinese for those of you that don’t read or speak Chinese I’ll explain where to click exactly, it’s very easy and simple. When you go to the link below you will see a list of applications that can be downloaded all from the same developers. Well the descriptions are in Chinese but the names are in English so just scroll down until you find KingRoot and click the big blue download button. This will download the apk file to your Android device.
KingRoot Download Once the download has finished open your Android’s file manager and locate the apk file you just downloaded. If you don’t have a file manager you can download one for free from the Google Play Store. I’ll link my favorite one below in case you have any trouble locating one. You can also simply slide down the status bar at the top of the screen on your device and press the notification stating that the download is finished downloading and that will open the apk file as well. When you open the apk file as long as you have “Unknown sources” enabled like I explained earlier you should be able to install the application by pressing the install button. Then after its installed press open to open the application. Astro File Manager (Google Play Store) Once you open the application there will be a large green circle on the screen and it will automatically detect the model Android that your using. It may take a few minutes but once its finished detecting the device your trying to root simply press the big green circle and the application will root your device. For some devices it may restart your Android but don’t worry this is just to finish the rooting process. You should see a big check mark in the circle if it rooted properly. Once the application is finished and your Android is rebooted you can check to make sure that it worked properly by using this simple and free app from the Google Play Store called Root Checker which I will link below for anyone that may have any trouble locating it. Just install the app and when you open it just press the button and it will check for root permissions. This is the easiest way to make sure that your device was rooted properly. And thats it!! You shouldn’t need to install a root manager like Superuser or SuperSU because this application automatically installs a root manager called KingMaster by the same developers that developed KingRoot. I hope this helps those of you that are still trying to find a way to root your Android device without a PC and having trouble locating a rooting application that will work for your Android device
